Jimeoin

Venue: Sean Hollywood Arts Centre Doors: 19:00 Show: 20:00 Tickets: Sold Out

Stunning world-class stand up comedy from the star of TV’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks, Just for Laughs and Best of Edinburgh Comedy Festival.

“Jimeon recalls the familiar at a fantastically silly level, boiling his audience down to a tear-filled, gibbering mess” Scotland on Sunday

‘’Inspire…Comedy so deceptively bright it almost blinds you…not so much stand-up comedian, more stand-up David Attenborough…this is comedy of the highest order’’-London Evening Standard

‘’It gets no better than this…brilliant…consummate comic. He’s not trying to preach to you, he won’t change your life but he will make you laugh a lot….Hilarious’’ Time Out

‘’A wicked self-deprecatory tone for an hour that has his victims doubled up in agonising laughter…exemplary stand-up comedy’’ Herald

Jimeoin is loved by audiences throughout the world for his brilliant wit and his razor-sharp take on the absurdities of everyday life, and has even beaten the world’s scientists to the finish line by introducing the concept of the Speed of Cheese – the more useful and alternative measurement to the Speed of Light – into modern day vocabulary.

Having left his native Northern Irish town of Portstewart and settling in Australia over a decade ago, Jimeoin’s disarmingly relaxed, cheeky and sometimes surreal sense of humour has led to him performing sell-out tours to record-breaking audiences across the length and breadth of his adopted homeland. He has released several top-selling CD’S and DVD’s and has also built up a strong international following.

This is a show that is purely and simply about having a good time and a good old-fashioned laugh.
